Summer Box League Finals
The top two from every summer box meet for finals day. New balls each round, umpires from the quarter-finals, and the terrace barbecue from noon. Winners are engraved on the honours board the same evening — free entry for members, $10 for guests.
The Grove Open — 128 Draw
Our flagship weekend: 128 players across five grades, finals under lights on Saturday, and ball kids and chair umpires throughout. Entry includes the finals barbecue and a tournament towel. Members enter free before July 1; late and guest entries $25.
Junior Summer Camp, Week 3
Five mornings of red, orange and green ball tennis with our academy coaches, ending in Friday’s mini-tournament with medals for every player. Sibling discount 15%. Bring lunch — the lounge looks after the rest.
Friday Social Doubles & Grill
Short sets, rotating partners, zero pressure — the friendliest night of the club month. The grill fires up at 8 PM and the bar runs member prices all evening. First-timers play free; just bring shoes.
Winter Handicap Tournament
Start each game at love-30 or 30-love depending on grading — beginners genuinely contest this one. Two guaranteed matches per entry, indoor backup courts if the weather turns, trophies for the winner and the best-graded performance.
Table Tennis Season Opener
The lounge tables come out and the season leaderboard begins. Quick-fire best-of-three sets, paddles provided, and the champion’s name goes up beside the tennis honours board. Free for members, $5 for guests.
