A neighborhood club with a tournament heart — eight courts, four racket sports and a coaching team that knows every member by name.
Baseline Grove opened in 1998 with two clay courts and a second-hand ball machine. Twenty-eight years later we are home to 900 members — and the ball machine finally retired.
What never changed is the idea the founders painted on the clubhouse wall: tennis is a game you play for life, so a club should treat you like a member for life. Juniors who learned their first forehand here now bring their own kids to Saturday squads. League teams that started as beginners now contest state finals.
Today the Grove holds four clay courts, two hard courts, two squash courts, a table-tennis lounge and a badminton hall — plus the lockers, showers, stringing room and sunny terrace that make a club day feel like a small holiday.
Programs never crowd out member play. Two courts are reserved for open booking every evening, guaranteed.
Five-year-olds, eighty-year-olds, first-timers and ex-college players all train side by side here.
Swept lines, watered clay, strung rackets back in 48 hours. The details are the membership.
